A message for Alyangula After School program attendees that today is our last day of sport for the Term. Due to staff leaving Eylandt for excursion on Friday there will be no Friday sport this week.

Dance is on tomorrow Wednesday June 23 and due to popular demand will continue every Wednesday from 3-5pm throughout the school holidays at the Alyangula School basketball court! Age groups as usual (ages 5-8, 3pm-4pm, ages 9+, 4pm-5pm). If you haven’t joined in the dance program yet this term now‘s your chance!

It was a hard-fought day of games yesterday at Barunga Festival but we narrowly missed out of the semi’s coming in 5th place overall.

It was a great weekend of culture, music and sport and we can wait to come back again next year!

Yellow Shirt Team Members, Parents

I like when Bush Fit Mob comes to my school because they help me to learn about leadership, playing fair and having respect for team players and coaches. I am becoming more active, having fun and feeling strong in both mind and body.

Kaylisha Mamarika

Student - Angurugu School

The Bush Fit Mob program is excellent for Angurugu and I have never seen anything like it in any school that I have worked in. The Bush Fit Mob program has made a significant impact with school attendance and the focus on healthy lifestyles and being positive role models for the students has been very important.
