We’re going to the @fifawomensworldcup in Brisbane!!!🇦🇺 ⚽️

Six Groote Eylandt youth who showed consistent engagement in school and in our soccer program last term were selected to attend this once in a lifetime trip to see our women’s Australian soccer team compete at the World Cup!

We made our way through Cairns enjoying some fun activities and are now in Brisbane where we’ll be attending the Australia vs. Nigeria game Thursday night and the France vs. Brazil game on Saturday!

We even ran into the Nigerian team on our walk around Brisbane and they were so nice to take a photo with us!

Let’s Go Australia!!!!!🇦🇺 📢 ⚽️

Our Umbakumba families took on the My Kitchen Rules Family Cooking Challenge today and the results were AMAZING! 🥘

Healthy, delicious and simple dishes that you can make at home were on the menu and they came up with some deadly recipes! Thanks to all that came down to participate and a big shout out to the generous Umbakumba Radio crew for letting us set up on your deck. Also big thanks to Amathea and Aunties for judging the tough competition. There were a lot of 5/5’s!

Yellow Shirt Team Members, Parents

I like when Bush Fit Mob comes to my school because they help me to learn about leadership, playing fair and having respect for team players and coaches. I am becoming more active, having fun and feeling strong in both mind and body.

Kaylisha Mamarika

Student - Angurugu School

The Bush Fit Mob program is excellent for Angurugu and I have never seen anything like it in any school that I have worked in. The Bush Fit Mob program has made a significant impact with school attendance and the focus on healthy lifestyles and being positive role models for the students has been very important.
